No Smoking

I can't believe it. No more smoking in public places in France. I would never have thought that this could happen. And apparently a smoking ban has been in effect in Britain since July. This is absolutely amazing. The only unpleasant memories I have of my last trip to London was nearly suffocating from all of the smoke in the restaurants. Fine dining is just not the same when you can't breathe. It's just too bad that they have to outlaw smoking in these places in order to prevent smokers from lighting up there. I'm not an advocate of this law, even though I will reap the benefits of it. I still think that owners of the establishments should have the right to decide for themselves if they want to allow smoking or not. People can choose whether they want to dine there or not based on that. The same goes for the employees that work there. They can work somewhere else if they don't like it. The last thing we need is the government imposing on us what they think is best. And even though I agree that this is what's best for us, where will it end? You can't have it both ways. You can't have individual rights and freedom only when it's convenient for some and not others and truly have rights and freedom.

I Am a Sex Addict

No. I'm not a sex addict. I just saw a movie called, "I Am a Sex Addict." It's pretty funny stuff. Basically, it's about a guy that's obsessed with having sex with prostitutes and his many strategies on how to deal with his obsession. He also has another problem... honesty. He's honest to the point that the women he has relationships with can't handle it. This is not a high budget film, but it was still entertaining.
There are scenes in the film where Caveh, the main character goes to massage parlors for sex. I've seen this before on TV... where men go to massage parlors for sex. I wonder how many of these places really exist? Why are they always Asian massage parlors? When I go to NYC, there are always ads in the Village Voice for 24 hour massage parlors. Guess what... Asian massage parlors. Could these be the places that men or women go to for sex? I wonder. Anyways, do you get a massage too?
